1. Service

These Terms explain the conditions for using TurtleNeck (the "App") and the rights and responsibilities of the App operator (the "Provider") and users. These Terms apply when the App is installed or used. Mandatory law in your country or region continues to apply.

The App compares phone tilt with a reference set by you, displays posture status, and provides reminders when needed. On supported devices, it may offer background detection, a floating widget, and local posture reports.

The App has no account registration or sign-in. Available features may vary by device and operating system.

2. Wellness notice and detection limits

TurtleNeck is a general wellness tool intended to support everyday screen-use habits. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. App status and reminders do not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The App does not directly measure neck angle or body posture. It compares phone-tilt readings with your reference. False alerts, missed alerts, delays, or interruptions may occur because of how the phone is held or placed, sensor differences, calibration, movement, device settings, or operating-system restrictions. Every status is guidance only.

3. Safe use and device features

Do not operate the App, widget, or phone screen while driving, cycling, operating dangerous equipment, or doing anything that requires full attention.

Some features may require device sensors, notifications, background operation, or screen-display functionality. Support and behavior may vary by device and operating system. Features may be limited when permissions are denied or system restrictions apply.

4. Purchase and right to use

TurtleNeck is a paid App purchased once through an app store. It does not offer subscriptions or in-App purchases. Purchases, payments, and refunds follow the policies of the app store used for the purchase and applicable consumer law. The Provider does not directly store payment-method information.

Purchasers may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. Purchasing the App does not transfer ownership of its source code, brand, or content. Except where applicable law permits, users must not copy, modify, redistribute, resell, or bypass the security of the App without authorization.

5. Content and rights

The software, screen layouts, text, brand elements, and graphic assets included in the App are created by the Provider or used under lawful authorization. To the extent permitted by applicable law, they may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used commercially without authorization.

6. Service changes and liability

The Provider may update the App or change features for quality, security, device compatibility, app-store policy, or legal compliance. Features may be limited or discontinued for technical or legal reasons.

The Provider will use reasonable efforts to maintain stability and accuracy but cannot guarantee perfect detection or uninterrupted operation on every device or in every environment. To the extent permitted by law, liability may be limited for loss caused by circumstances outside the Provider's reasonable control. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or mandatory consumer rights.

7. Privacy

The Privacy Policy governs information processing and App activity analytics. Analytics is enabled by default and can be turned off during onboarding or at any time in Settings. Disabling analytics does not limit the App's core features.

8. Changes to these Terms and contact

These Terms may change when App features, operating practices, or applicable laws change. Material changes will be announced in the App, app-store listing, or public website.
