1. Overview

TurtleNeck (the "App") is provided by the TurtleNeck developer (the "Provider"). This Policy explains information that the App accesses and processes.

The App has no account, sign-in, operating server, or operating database. Information used for posture reminders is processed on your device and is not sent to a Provider server.

The App does not use advertising, analytics, or remote crash-reporting SDKs. It does not collect an advertising ID or your app usage history.

2. Information processed on your device

Category Purpose Storage
Gravity or accelerometer readings Calculate phone tilt and posture status Processed live. Raw sensor history is not stored.
Proximity status Reduce unnecessary checks when the phone is close Processed live and not stored separately.
Call status Pause checks during ringing or a regular phone call The current state is checked and not stored.
Calibration values Set your personal phone-angle reference Stored in private App storage on your device.
Posture events Create daily, weekly, and custom-date reports Stored in private App storage on your device.
App settings Remember alerts, widget style, and feature choices Stored in private App storage on your device.

The App does not access call content, audio recordings, phone numbers, call logs, contacts, location, camera, photos, or files.

3. Android permissions and features

Notifications

Used to show posture alerts and background detection status. Alerts may not appear when notification permission is denied.

Display over other apps

Used only to show the floating posture widget. The widget cannot be displayed without this permission.

Foreground service

Used to keep checking device orientation while detection is on and the App is in the background. You can turn this feature off in the App.

Device sensor access is required for the App's core function. Android permissions can be changed in your device settings.

4. External transmission, sharing, and payments

The App does not send posture information to a Provider server. The Provider does not sell or share it with advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

Google Play processes App purchases, payments, refunds, fraud prevention, and settlement. The App does not collect or store your card or bank details. The Provider may view transaction details made available by Google Play, such as order status, for support, refunds, accounting, and legal compliance.

5. Retention, deletion, and security

  • Calibration and posture records remain until you select "Delete posture data," clear App storage, or uninstall the App.
  • Deleting posture data removes calibration and report history and stops background detection and the floating widget.
  • Clearing App storage or uninstalling removes all local App data and settings.
  • The App does not allow its data in Android backups.

Local information is kept in private Android App storage. No system is completely secure, so use a device lock and keep Android security updates current.

6. Your choices, automated status, and children

There is no account to delete. You can delete local posture data in the App and change notifications or display-over-other-apps permission in Android settings. Because the Provider cannot access your device, the Provider cannot remotely view or delete its local information.

The App compares your calibration with phone tilt and shows a normal, warning, or danger status. This happens only on your device and is not used for advertising or a legal or similarly significant decision.

The App is not directed primarily to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. A minor should use it with a parent or guardian when local law requires.

7. Changes and contact

This Policy may change when App features, SDKs, data practices, or laws change. Material changes will be announced in the App, the Google Play listing, or this website.

Privacy questions can be sent to support@1sq.co.kr.
