1. Core principles
The operator of TurtleNeck (the "App") (the "Provider") provides this Policy to explain the information processed by the App and the choices available to users.
The App has no account, sign-in, operating server, or operating database. Sensor information, calibration values, and posture records used for reminders are processed on your device and are not sent to a Provider server.
The App does not use advertising or remote crash-reporting SDKs. It does not collect advertising IDs or use analytics information for personalized advertising.
2. Information processed on the device

3. App activity analytics
The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand service use and improve features and reliability. Analytics is enabled by default when the App is first used. You can turn it off during onboarding or at any time in Settings. Disabling analytics does not limit the App's core posture features.
When analytics is on, Google Firebase Analytics may receive:
- An App instance ID
- App opens, sessions, and lifecycle information
- Events for onboarding completion, posture setup completion, report views, background-detection activation, and floating-widget activation
- App version, device model, and operating-system version
- An approximate region derived from a masked IP address
Phone-tilt angles, sensor readings, calibration values, posture records, proximity status, and call status are not sent to Firebase Analytics. The App does not collect names, email addresses, or account information, but analytics identifiers and technical information may be personal data under applicable law.
4. Device permissions and features
The App may use motion sensors, proximity status, call status, notifications, background operation, and a floating widget in supported environments. Available features and required permissions may vary by device and operating system.
The App does not access call content, voice or audio recordings, phone numbers, call logs, contacts, location permission or GPS, camera, photos, or files. You can change granted permissions in your device settings.
6. Retention, deletion, and security
- Calibration and posture records remain until you select "Delete posture data," clear App storage, or uninstall the App.
- Deleting posture data removes calibration and report history and stops background detection and the floating widget.
- Clearing App storage or uninstalling removes App data and settings stored on the device.
- Turning off "Share basic app activity" stops future analytics collection and resets the App's local analytics identifier. It does not automatically delete analytics already sent. That information is retained under the Provider's Google Analytics retention setting and Google's applicable policies.
Local information is kept in private App storage on the device. Information sent to Firebase Analytics is encrypted in transit.
7. User choices, changes, and contact
There is no account to delete. You can delete local posture data in the App, turn analytics on or off, and change related permissions in device settings. Because the Provider cannot access your device, the Provider cannot remotely view or delete information stored on it.
This Policy may change when App features, external services, information practices, or applicable laws change. Material changes will be announced in the App, app-store listing, or public website.
